What is True Life Summer Camp?

True Life Ministries Youth Summer Camp 2017 is a great opportunity for students to experience a full week with their friends/student ministry. Camp provides an opportunity to make some new friends and encounter God, who can bring hope to their everyday life.

Summer Camp 2017 takes place at Silver Lake Camp in Medical Lake, WA. Students are transported to and from BCA to the campsite.

Students entering Grades 6 – 8 can register for Junior High Camp that takes place July 9 – 13, 2017. The cost is $355.00 per student, if registered by June 22, 2017.  After June 22, 2017, the cost increases to $380.00.  Final day to register is July 5, 2017.

Students entering Grades 9 – 12 can register for High School Camp that takes place July 17 – 21, 2017.  The cost is $355.00 per student, if registered by June 28, 2017. After June 28, 2017, the cost increases to $380.00 per student.  Final day to register is July 13, 2017.

How to Register

Important note:  The registration is a two part process and each student must be registered individually.  After the first part of the registration transaction is complete, you will receive an email with a link to complete the second part of the registration.

What to Bring

MARK ALL BELONGINGS: Camp will not be responsible for stolen, lost, or damaged articles remaining on the campgrounds for more than two weeks after the last day of camp.

Medication is not to be kept in the possession of students or leaders for the primary reason of student safety.  All medication will be turned in to our camp nurse at check in.  Please bring medication and any special instructions in a Ziploc bag labeled with your student’s name.  This includes, but is not limited to: prescription medication, over the counter medication, vitamins/supplements, ibuprofen, allergy medication etc.

Inappropriate Clothing:
Ladies: spaghetti strap tank tops, halter tops, sheer tops/bottoms, bikini swimsuits
Tops or bottoms that reveal the stomach, mini- skirts, etc.
Guys: Low rise jeans, shorts
Both: Clothing with inappropriate images/sayings

Cell Phone Policy:
We believe cell phones can be both a distraction and a tool.  Students are permitted to bring phones if they choose and if parents allow it.  True Life, BCA, and Silver Lake Camp are not responsible for lost or damaged cell phones.  Students will be permitted to use cell phones for photos and to share what’s going on at Summer Camp on social media, but ONLY during the Activity time.  If cell phones become a DISTRACTION from what is happening at camp, leaders have been instructed to confiscate them until camp is over.  It is our hope that cell phone usage will be utilized in a healthy way.

Junior High Check In information:
• Camp check in begins at BCA at 7am July 9, 2017. Check in will be in the Activity Center.
• Mandatory Camp meeting for students at 8:00am
• Busses Depart BCA promptly at 8:30am
• All medication will need to be in a Ziploc bag labeled with the student’s name, and church name. In addition a Medication Form will need to be completed by the parent and enclosed in the Ziploc bag. This bag will need to be turned in at the check in table during registration.

High School Check in Information:
• Camp check in begins at BCA at 8:00am on Monday July 17, 2017. Check in will be in the Activity Center.
• Mandatory Camp meeting for students at 8:30am
• Busses depart BCA promptly at 9am.
• All medication will need to be in a Ziploc bag labeled with the student’s name, and church name. In addition a Medication Form will need to be completed by the parent and enclosed in the Ziploc bag. This bag will need to be turned in at the check in table during registration.

We will be stopping to eat lunch on the way over, please send money for your child to eat. We will also be stopping for lunch on the way home, but this is included in your camp registration fee. Please plan to bring extra snacks and water as needed.
