Join me this year in a new study on the Proverbs: God’s Wisdom for Today. As you read through the Proverbs, I urge you to reflect, pray, and apply these devotional bits of encouragement to your own life. Today, we study and reflect on Proverbs 2.

Reflection
These words in Proverbs 2 challenge me. God says to fill your mind, heart, and life with His Word. If we do, we will have so much good to draw on. The result will be wisdom, understanding, insight, and knowledge. Reading, studying, and memorizing God’s Word on a daily basis is vitally important if we want to be wise. God’s Word is wisdom. Store up, fill up, add to your internal data base, and strengthen yourself in the Bible. God’s Word is wisdom. Scripture changes us, informs us, transforms us, and aligns us with God’s Will. Store up! Build up! Step up!
“My son, if you accept my words and store up my commands within you, turning your ear to wisdom and applying your heart to understanding— indeed, if you call out for insight and cry aloud for understanding, and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure, then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God.” – Proverbs 2:1-5
