As you read through the Proverbs, I urge you to reflect, pray, and apply these devotional bits of encouragement and wisdom to your own life.

Do Good.
Jesus calls us to love and live like Him. To get our eyes off self and onto others. To find a need and meet it. See a hurt and heal it. Look for emptiness and fill it. What good thing can you do for someone in need today? Imagine a world where everyone is doing good for someone else. Serving the hungry, homeless, hurting, and hopeless. Encouraging. Giving. Serving. Caring. We live in a world where not everyone cares about doing good. But may we be special. Stand out. And serve others passionately like Jesus. What good thing can you do for someone today? Look for an opportunity to serve someone. The needs are everywhere.
“Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to act. Do not say to your neighbor, “Come back tomorrow and I’ll give it to you”— when you already have it with you.” – Proverbs 3:27-28
