In chapter 6 of his letter to the Galatians, Paul encourages us to love and support those around us: “Reach out to those who are oppressed. Share their burdens, and so complete Christ’s law… Make careful exploration of who you are and the work you have been given, and then sink yourself into that… Let’s not allow ourselves to get fatigued doing good [rather] every time we get the chance, let us work for the benefit of all, starting with the people closest to us in the community of faith.”
Through a combination of volunteers passionate about helping others and well-sourced resources, our desire is that our BCC Support Groups will help meet the emotional and spiritual needs of the people in our community.
