As you read through the Proverbs, I urge you to reflect, pray, and apply these devotional bits of encouragement and wisdom to your own life.

Conditions and consequences.
God blesses those who obey. But the consequences of disobedience are just as real. We all want the blessings of God, and they are available to us if we live in obedience to Him. But to stray from His path of wisdom and righteousness is foolish and will result in judgment. Let’s all examine our lives. Confess our sins and waywardness. And commit to obey Christ completely. Here he talks about staying away from the path of the wicked and the snares of adultery. But temptations to sin and disobey are varied and prevalent everywhere. So, we must be vigilant. Don’t hold onto resentment. It will destroy you. Don’t foster secret sins. They will derail you. Don’t minimize disobedience. It will dead-end you. Choose godliness and purity. Repent. Confess. Choose to obey. Each day. And enjoy the blessings of God that come to those who are blameless and faithful. He will give you the strength you need to become the person He wants you to be. Let’s go with God!
“Wisdom will save you from the ways of wicked men, from men whose words are perverse, who have left the straight paths to walk in dark ways, who delight in doing wrong and rejoice in the perverseness of evil, whose paths are crooked and who are devious in their ways. Thus, you will walk in the ways of the good and keep to the paths of the righteous. For the upright will live in the land, and the blameless will remain in it; but the wicked will be cut off from the land, and the unfaithful will be torn from it.” – Proverbs 2:12-15, 20-22
