Our Vision

To embody and reflect the life and teachings of Jesus in all that we do: To Live, Love, and Lead, like Jesus.

Live Like Jesus

Living like Jesus means embodying His teachings and examples in our everyday lives. It’s about walking in humility, showing compassion, and seeking justice. We strive to mirror Jesus’ way of life, making choices and building relationships that reflect His love and grace. Living like Jesus makes us beacons of His light in our communities, demonstrating patience, kindness, and forgiveness in all our interactions.

Love Like Jesus

Loving like Jesus is at the heart of our faith. It means loving unconditionally, without judgment or reservation. Jesus taught us to love not only our friends and family but also those who are difficult to love, including our enemies. This divine love transcends barriers, embraces diversity, and seeks the well-being of others. It’s about putting others’ needs before our own and showing empathy and compassion in a world that often lacks understanding.

Lead Like Jesus

Leading like Jesus involves guiding others with humility, integrity, and a servant’s heart. It’s not about power or position but about inspiring and empowering those around us through our actions and words. Jesus led by example, showing us how to be servant leaders who prioritize the needs of others, seek justice, and foster a spirit of collaboration and unity. As we lead like Jesus, we encourage others to grow in their faith and live out their God-given potential.

Our Core Mission

At BCA, our mission centers around four pivotal actions: Know, Grow, Serve, and Share. We are dedicated to making disciples by guiding individuals to:

Know God’s Word through weekly worship and fellowship.
Grow in our relationship with Jesus via small groups and Bible studies.
Serve others using our unique gifts and talents.
Share our faith with those seeking truth and a relationship with the Lord.

What We Believe

ABOUT GOD – We believe in the Trinity.
God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. He has eternally existed in three distinct but equal beings: God (the Father), Jesus (the Son), and the Holy Spirit. (Genesis 1:1,26,27; Genesis 3:22; Psalm 90:2; Matthew 28:19; 1 Peter 1:2; 1 Corinthians 13:14)

ABOUT HUMANITY – We believe humans are born separated from God.
God created humanity in His image — to be like Him in character. Although we have tremendous potential for good, we are marred by a rebellious attitude toward God called sin. (Genesis 1:27; Psalm 8:3-6; Isaiah 53:6a; Romans 3:23; Isaiah 59: 1,2)

ABOUT ETERNITY – We believe in Heaven and Hell.
Humanity was created to exist forever. We will either exist eternally separated from God by sin (Hell) or in union with God through forgiveness and salvation (Heaven). Heaven and Hell are places of eternal existence; eternal separation from God is Hell — eternal union with God is Heaven (Eternal Life). (John 3:16; John 2:25; John 5:11-13; Romans 6:23; Revelation 20:15; 1 John 5:11,12; Matthew 25:31-46)

ABOUT JESUS CHRIST – We believe in the Deity of Christ.
Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He lived a sinless human life and died on the cross for man’s sins. Three days later, He arose from the dead to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended to Heaven’s glory and will return to earth as the Savior of all humankind. (Matthew 1:22,23; Isaiah 9:6; John 1:1-5; John 14:10-30; Hebrews 4:14,15; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4; Romans 1:3,4; Acts 1:9-11; 1 Timothy 6:14,15; Titus 2:13)

ABOUT SALVATION – We believe in salvation by grace through faith.
Salvation is a gift from God to humanity. Humanity can never make up for sin by self-improvement or good works. Eternal life begins when one receives Jesus Christ into his life by faith. Only by accepting Jesus as Lord and Savior can God’s offer of forgiveness save one from sin’s penalty of death. (Romans 6:23; Ephesians 2:8,9; John 14:6, John 1:12; Titus 3:5; Galatians 3:26; Romans 5:1)

ABOUT THE HOLY SPIRIT – We believe in the active work of the Holy Spirit in our lives.
The Holy Spirit is equal with the Father and the Son of God. He lives in every Christian from the moment a person accepts Jesus as his personal Savior. He is also present in the world to make men aware of their need for Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit gives the Christian the power for living, understanding spiritual truth, and guidance in doing what is right. Daily, the Christian seeks to live under His control. (II Corinthians 3:17; John 16:7-13; John 14:16,17; Acts 1:8; 1 Corinthians 2:12; 1 Corinthians 3:16; Ephesians 1:13; Galatians 5:25)

ABOUT THE BIBLE – We believe the Bible is the Word of God.
The Bible is God’s word (message) to humanity. Written by human authors under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit, the Bible is the supreme source of Truth for Christian beliefs and living. Because God inspired it, it is truth in its entirety. (II Timothy 3:16; II Peter 1:20-21; II Timothy 1:13; Psalm 119: 105 & 160; Psalm 12:6; Proverbs 30:5)
