About Christy
Christy Browning was born and raised in Snohomish County and has deep roots in the community she serves. With over 20 years of experience in church administration, children’s ministry, youth ministry, and compassion-focused work, Christy brings both heart and leadership to everything she does. She stepped into her role as Program Coordinator for Bethany Compassion Center in March 2021 feeling a clear calling to engage more deeply in hands-on ministry with those who are hurting and overlooked in the community. Christy thrives when she is helping people and equipping others to use their unique gifts to make a meaningful difference. She is married to Kent, an IT Systems Administrator for Costco Travel, and together they enjoy exploring the mountains whenever possible. At home, Christy and Kent are kept busy (and smiling) by their twin toddler boys.
