Join me in a study on the Proverbs: God’s Wisdom for Today. As you read through the Proverbs, I urge you to reflect, pray, and apply these devotional bits of encouragement and wisdom to your own life. Today, we study and reflect on Proverbs 21.

Reflection
God is over all, above all, more powerful than all, knows all, sees all, and is all in all. In other words, He is all powerful, all knowing, and everywhere present at the same time. Nothing is too great for God. Nothing is beyond His view. Nothing is unclear to Him. In Daniel, it says that “God sets up kings and takes down kings.” Along with the Proverb below, many Scriptures remind us that God is sovereign. He is Lord. He is overseeing everything. Take confidence in that fact. Take confidence in the truth that He sees you, knows you, understands what you need, and loves you more than you know. Our God is not a relic of the past. He is real and alive and at work in the world today. He wants you to know that you mean the world to Him and He is in you, for you, and walks beside you every moment of every day.

“In the Lord’s hand the king’s heart is a stream of water that he channels toward all who please him.” – Proverbs 21:1
