Join me in a study on the Proverbs: God’s Wisdom for Today. As you read through the Proverbs, I urge you to reflect, pray, and apply these devotional bits of encouragement and wisdom to your own life. Today, we study and reflect on Proverbs 30.

Reflection
Ever feel run down? Of course, we all do. It seems I talk to people every day who express being weary, run down, exhausted, tired, and ready to give up. I love the last few words of Prov 30:1. Notice the admission of weariness. But also notice the faith to go on. The Bible is full of priceless nuggets, and this is another one to me. We all feel like we are at the end of ourselves from time to time. But let me encourage you with this, when you feel run down and at the end of your rope, remember that you are only at the very beginning of God. He has unlimited peace, rest, and strength to offer you just when you need it most. Jesus said, “come to me all who are weary and I will give you rest.” Feeling a bit run down and discouraged today? Turn to Christ and trust in Him. He will give you the rest you need and the strength to go on!
“I am weary, God, but I can prevail.” – Proverbs 30:1
