I recently put out a call on Facebook, asking people for their favorite scriptures to lean on when feeling stressed or distressed. I received so many great responses I wanted to share them with you, so we have a reference of verses to turn to during this difficult time. Thank you to everyone who shared.

Romans 8:18
I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.

Psalm 121
I lift up my eyes to the mountains—where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. He will not let your foot slip—he who watches over you will not slumber; indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord watches over you—the Lord is your shade at your right hand; the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord will keep you from all harm—he will watch over your life; the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.

Psalm 91
Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. Romans 15:13

Philippians 4:6-7

Philippians 4:13

Matthew 6:25-34

Isaiah 40:31
