As you read through the Proverbs, I urge you to reflect, pray, and apply these devotional bits of encouragement and wisdom to your own life.

God is at Work.
It can feel like we are all alone in our pain, problems, and everyday challenges. But we must remind ourselves that God is continually at work in us. He loves you, sees your potential, and wants to use you to bless others. He uses the raw materials of life’s challenges to mold you and make you and me more like Jesus. He wants to form us into the image of His Son. We are His huge construction project. As we turn to Him, yield to Christ, and live our life for the Lord, He is continually fashioning us into the very people He wants us to be. So don’t fight against the Lord; lean into Him. Don’t believe you are abandoned. God is at work in you. Just like He was at work in Abraham, Moses, Esther, Ruth, Mary, Peter, and Paul. Be encouraged. Thank God for working in you. Tell Him you are eager to become more like Him. Make it your mission to be more like Jesus. Work with God as He is at work in you!
“The Lord works out everything to its proper end— even the wicked for a day of disaster. The Lord detests all the proud of heart. Be sure of this: They will not go unpunished. Through love and faithfulness sin is atoned for; through the fear of the Lord evil is avoided. When the Lord takes pleasure in anyone’s way, he causes their enemies to make peace with them.” – Proverbs 16:4-7
