The Psalms have brought tremendous comfort and guidance to so many for so long. Join me in taking a fresh look at each Psalm. As you read through them, I urge you to reflect, pray, and apply these devotional bits of encouragement to your own life. Today, we study and reflect on Psalm 2.

Reflection

Jesus’ call on our lives is powerful and clear, as seen in the Great Commission and Great Commandment (Matthew 22 & 28). We are to love people and reach people with the Good News of God’s grace. How is that going for you? It’s important to ask ourselves often if we are on mission and fulfilling our purposes. It is easy to replace God’s mission with our own. We can actually be quite convincing in justifying our purposes over God’s, but we need to stay true to God’s mission and purpose over ours. What are you allowing to take priority and precedence over God’s mission and purposes? Recommit today to make God’s mission and purposes your priority. God and others are counting on you!
