The Psalms have brought tremendous comfort and guidance to so many for so long. Join me in taking a fresh look at each Psalm. As you read through them, I urge you to reflect, pray, and apply these devotional bits of encouragement to your own life. Today, we study and reflect on Psalm 3.
Reflection
Sometimes in life, we can be pummeled by waves of doubt. It can even feel like a tsunami at times. Remember that with God, you are never down and out. I understand that it might feel like it at times. We all experience down times. Others may even pile on and make you feel even worse. Look to God. Lean into the Lord. Trust in Christ. He wants to replace your fear with faith, your doubt with deliverance, and your anxiety with assurance. Be careful to listen to God’s voice of encouragement over the voices of doubt and despair. He is for you. He is with you. With God, you are never down and out. Be encouraged. You might be down with doubt, but you are never down and out. May God lift you and strengthen you today.
“Lord, how many are my foes! How many rise up against me! Many are saying of me, “God will not deliver him.” But you, Lord, are a shield around me, my glory, the One who lifts my head high.” — Psalms 3:1-3
